Siongo Kisoso is a seasoned finance and investment professional with extensive experience across investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic advisory. He currently serves as the Regional Director for East Africa at Swedfund, Sweden’s development finance institution, where he leads efforts to drive sustainable investments across the region. Prior to joining Swedfund, Siongo was the Managing Director at BK Capital (part of BK Group) in Rwanda, where he spearheaded strategic initiatives and delivered innovative, client-focused financial solutions. His leadership was instrumental in advancing capital market development and introducing pioneering financial instruments in East Africa.

Throughout his career, Siongo has held impactful roles at organizations such as IBL Group, McKinsey & Company, and Genghis Capital, contributing to transformative projects across the African continent.

He holds an Executive MBA from Strathmore Business School with additional certifications in ESG Investing, Valuation and Risk Management, and other courses.
