Ria is the Client Director of Old Mutual Private Equity (OMPE) and is responsible for leading the fund raising and investor relations functions.

Ria joined OMPE in June 2021 having previously been in Investment Banking at Standard Bank. Ria’s investment banking career spans 17 years, where she has worked across diverse sectors, including Industrial and Consumer, in the origination and execution of equity and debt transactions, mergers & acquisitions and IPOs.

Prior to Standard Bank, Ria worked as a Metals and Mining Analyst at Merrill Lynch and a corporate financier at Cadiz Corporate Solutions.

Ria is a non-executive director on the SAVCA (Southern African Venture Capital and Private Equity Association) Board.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree with an Honours in Finance from the University of Cape Town.
