Priscilla is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), UK and has been called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Middle Temple and Mauritius. She has also attended the Authentic Leadership Development Program at Harvard Business School. Priscilla has practiced at the Mauritian Bar since 1999 and has appeared before all the courts of Mauritius, as well as before the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in the United Kingdom. She is well-versed in both the public and private sectors in Mauritius, having served as a part time member of the Public Bodies Appeal Tribunal (PBAT) for numerous years.

Priscilla has 25 years’ experience in providing strategic legal advice to clients across multiple jurisdictions. She currently serves as Senior Partner and Chairperson of Dentons (Mauritius) LLP and Head of the ‘Financial Services Practice Group’ of Dentons Africa. She is herself a seasoned board member with more than 18 years of boardroom experience. Priscilla currently serves on the boards of listed companies operating in various sectors including agriculture, property, investment holding and telecommunications.

Priscilla plays a key role in advising investment funds, private equity firms, High Net Worth Individuals, Family Offices and financial institutions on cross border investments, structuring of transactions, M&As, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation strategies. She regularly advises on fund formation, governance, portfolio acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestments, ensuring that clients optimize their investments and have the necessary legal safeguards in place. She has a keen interest for Compliance, AI, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) matters, providing advisory services to businesses navigating regulatory frameworks, sustainable investment strategies, and digital transformation.

Priscilla regularly intervenes at conferences, both locally and globally and in 2024, she has intervened on a panel on CNBC Africa on the topic of ‘Investing in Mauritius’ and has published an article titled ‘Mauritius – A launchpad into Africa or the final destination?’ in Forbes Africa Magazine. Priscilla is a former President of the Bar Council of Mauritius and former vice chairperson of Mauritius Finance. Priscilla currently serves as director for Emtel Ltd, Alteo Ltd, Promotion and Development Limited and National Investment Trust.
