Miyanda Hakooma is currently a Manager Investments at the Workers Compensation Fund Control Board in Zambia, a social security scheme responsible for compensating workers in respect of accidents suffered and diseases contracted during the course of employment. He is responsible for managing the Fund’s investment portfolio to ensure growth and stability of assets. Miyanda’s professional career spans over 12 years in various sectors, during which he has built a strong track record in, fixed income, property and infrastructure, and private equity investments. He holds Masters Degrees in Business Administration – Finance, Financial Management and Economics. He is also an adjunct lecturer at the National Institute of Public Administration in Zambia where he teaches Economics and Business courses to undergraduates.
