Aziz Mebarek (56) is a Co-Founder of AfricInvest a leading Pan African PE firm and Integra Partners a North African boutique specialized in asset management and Corporate finance through its affiliate Tunisie Valeurs . He has lengthy experience in structuring equity and debt deals in Africa and raising funds for corporate and institutional clients. Aziz has also contributed to raise around 1,5 billion dollars in private equity funds and currently engaging in growth VC. He acts as a board, executive and audit committee member, for several North and Sub-Saharan African Financial Institutions and Private companies. Between 1991 and 1994, he was the General Manager of two industrial companies, ILVA Maghreb and Tunisacier International (which are affiliates of ILVA, a large Italian conglomerate), having held various production and management positions in these companies since 1987. Aziz was instrumental in the promotion of the African Venture Capital Association and different other associations active in the economic and social fields in Africa. He is a graduate of the engineering university École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris, France.
